EARLY STAGES

Performance first entered my life in different forms. As a child, I sang onstage at events; as a teenager, I performed during visits to care homes. At secondary school, I acted in a play for the first time, discovering the excitement of being in a production and finding a sense of belonging among the people making it.

At university, that early interest became a sustained commitment. While studying marketing and management, I performed regularly with the university drama society. I also returned to my secondary school as a drama mentor and production director, sharing that passion with younger performers and discovering that helping others find confidence was as rewarding as being onstage myself.

A CAREER IN RETAIL

LONDON

I moved to the UK to pursue acting and, over time, built a career in luxury retail, eventually becoming a corporate trainer at Dior. Working on the retail floor and in training rooms brought me into contact with people from many backgrounds, where listening closely, observing carefully and adapting to different situations were essential. Those experiences continue to inform my work as an actor.

ACTING TRAINING

In 2023, I left Dior to put acting at the centre of my work and began a Master of Fine Arts in Professional Acting with Independent Production at Drama Studio London. By the time I graduated with Distinction in 2025, I had strengthened my work with text and voice while deepening my understanding of how theatre is made.

Co-creating STUD marked a new stage in that journey. Taking an idea from its earliest conversations to a public performance brought my work as an actor into the wider process of theatre making. It continues to shape my acting, the way I collaborate and the work I want to create.
